A physician has introduced a novel therapy aimed at eliminating microplastics from our bodies through a blood-cleaning process known as apheresis.
For those who remain happily uninformed, microplastics enter our bodies via food and water consumption as well as inhalation. These minuscule particles have spread across the globe, detected even in the stools of both infants and grown-ups.
A 2024 study analyzed 62 samples of placental tissue, with the findings indicating polyethylene , which is predominantly utilized for producing plastic bags and bottles. Microplastics have since been discovered in surprising areas within the human body, such as blood and breast milk. Although their complete effect on our health remains uncertain, laboratory research indicates that these minuscule particles may damage human cells.
Meanwhile, a 2022 WHO report determined that there was insufficient proof to indicate if they present a danger to human well-being.

Currently, Clarify Clinics has introduced a new treatment priced at an impressive £9,750 ($12,600) per session.
Throughout the Clari procedure, your plasma is softly isolated from your red and white blood cells using a technique known as apheresis, website The plasma subsequently goes through our secure and efficient Clari column, which has been CE certified. This process captures and eliminates harmful elements such as microplastics, persistent chemicals, and inflammatory proteins.
Speaking to Wired Yael Cohen, the CEO of Clarify Clinics, stated: "After it starts operating, you hardly notice anything at all. It's extremely comfortable. Patients answer calls, join Zoom meetings, watch movies, and even manage to get some sleep. Those who fall asleep are my personal favourites."
