US: 2 Dead in Shooting Rampage at Florida State University

The Florida State University (FSU) in Tallahassee went into lockdown on Thursday following a shooting incident where three individuals were killed and another four injured.

FSU Police Chief Jason Trumbower stated that the two individuals who died were not students, whereas the shooter was.

Trumbower stated that five individuals, which included the shooter, were transported to the medical facility due to gun-related injuries.

What information do we have regarding the Florida State shooting?

The firing began around 11:50 a.m. local time (1550 GMT).

Eyewitnesses described pandemonium breaking out as individuals scrambled for safety following the sound of gunshots close to the student union building.

A witness identified as Wayne informed WCTV, 'Everybody began rushing out from the student union,'” he said. “‘Approximately one minute afterward, we could hear roughly between eight to ten gunshot sounds.'
