Russian Airstrike in Dnipro: Three Dead, 30 Injured Including Children

At least three people were killed in a Russian drone attack in the southeastern Ukrainian city of Dnipro late on Wednesday evening.

A young girl was among the dead, regional governor Serhiy Lysak said in a post on Telegram.

Some 30 others were injured, including five children, of whom 16 were being treated in a local hospital.

Multiple blazes erupted due to the strike, causing damage to a minimum of 15 structures throughout the city.

Following the strike on the city of Kherson earlier in the day using cruise missiles and artillery by Russia, an assault occurred.

Ukrainian officials reported that Russian troops initiated artillery bombardment when rescue teams reached the area after the first wave of bombings.

A single individual was killed and roughly nine more sustained injuries during the assault, which resulted in damage to a sporting complex, a grocery store, several apartment structures, and ordinary cars.

Deadly Russian aerial assaults have escalated in recent weeks despite calls by US President Donald Trump for a ceasefire.

The US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has reached Paris, the French capital, to engage in discussions with his European peers.

Alongside Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff, they will talk about initiatives aimed at stopping Russia’s continuous conflict in Ukraine.

Ukraine’s foreign and defense ministers along with Britain’s Foreign Secretary David Lammy are expected to join the talks.
