Two galaxies that are close neighbors to the Milky Way are at war, with the more massive one ripping apart the lesser galaxy.
The Magellanic Clouds are a pair of dwarf galaxies , observable from the Southern Hemisphere, accompanied by another cosmic entity known as the Magellanic Bridge.
Specialists are currently indicating that the meeting point is allowing the bigger one to tear apart the smaller one.
The lesser Magellanic Cloud might ultimately face total annihilation, and within a few billion years, these galaxies will crash into each other and combine with the Milky Way.
