JOHANNESBURG - Emergency services and police forces have been stationed at key locations along the N3.
Heavy traffic volumes are expected as travellers head to various destinations for the Easter long weekend.

The chief operating officer of N3 Toll Concession, Thania Dhoogra, provided an update on the nation's most heavily used roadway.
She mentioned that The N3 is extremely congested, with numbers increasing since as early as 4 am.
"We’re expecting this will continue until 11am this [Friday] morning."
